All accounting firms are NOT the same. Come meet us and get a feel for what FCS is all about. This is a full-time accounting manager position.

With FCS, you would:

  • Develop and maintain effective professional working relationships with client personnel
  • Supervise our senior and staff accountants including training and delegation of work to staff
  • Perform technical research as required
  • Maintain knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB standards
  • Perform analytical reviews of schedules and documents and prepare supporting schedules as necessary.
  • Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control to identify issues.
  • Prepare and review financial statement reports, including complex footnote disclosures.
  • Prepare SEC filing documents, and documents supporting client needs.
  • Perform tests of risk assessment and financial information internal controls and recommend improved controls and enhanced efficiency.

Personal and Practice Qualifications:

  • Must have outstanding work ethic, willing to roll up sleeves work attitude.
  • 3-6 years experience working in public accounting or equivalent position
  • Bachelor of Science or business administration or MS/MBA in accounting.
  • CPA license.
  • Strong academic credentials in accounting or finance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SEC and FASB rules and regulations
  • Experience with publicly-traded clients.
